Our Story
With grateful hearts, we invite you to celebrate an extraordinary blessing—Ritha Martineau Laneaud is turning 90. As she prepares to travel to Haiti, and with no certainty about when she’ll return to the United States, we’re gathering not only to celebrate nine beautiful decades, but also to say a loving “farewell for now.” Some of us haven’t seen one another in far too long, so let’s make this a joyful family reunion filled with love, laughter, Haitian food, music and memories.
Theme Colors: Gold • Beige • White
Guests are welcome to wear gold, beige, white, or a combination of these colors if they would like to coordinate with the celebration theme. This is completely optional.

Travel & Stay
Notes for our out-of-town family
For our out-of-town family: Airports — Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) is the closest, about 15 minutes away. Southwest Florida International (RSW, Fort Myers) is about 40 minutes, Sarasota-Bradenton (SRQ) about 1 hour, and Tampa (TPA) about 1 hour 45 minutes. Where to stay — Punta Gorda offers several comfortable hotels near the harbor and downtown, all a short drive from the venue. Booking early is recommended, as December is a popular season in Southwest Florida. Getting around — A rental car or ride share is the easiest way to get around Punta Gorda. The venue has free on-site parking. If you need help planning your trip, please mention it in your RSVP message and the family will gladly assist.

A Note on Gifts
Your presence and love are the greatest gifts. If you would also like to bless Ritha with a birthday gift, monetary gifts are especially appreciated as she prepares for her travels. They give her flexibility for travel, personal needs and savings, and to continue blessing others in Haiti. Giving is completely optional.
